Escape of Water – Elstree

This property was subject to an escape of water which caused extensive damage throughout the ground floor/basement of the property.
We worked with a principal designer, employed by the clients insurance company to carry out all the internal repairs after the property was stripped out and deemed dry by a specialist drying company.
Bedroom & En Suite- All walls were sanded down for new paint finish. New skirting, architraves and laminated black doors were installed. Ceilings and walls were painted using Farrow & Ball paints with the woodwork completed in Little Greene paint. Kingsmead Bliss Bone Carpet was fitted to the flooring. In the en suite, the wall tiles were hacked off and the walls relined with water proofing boards before new ceramic tiles were fitted. The ceramic tiles on the floor were removed, timbers treated, new timber floor boards installed, underlay and new ceramic tiles. It was deemed that the sanitaryware would not respond well to removal and refitting so our plumbing team replaced all with new Grohe fittings.
Utility Room & Store – As with the bedroom and en suite, our carpenters, decorators and tilers prepared all areas and replaced skirting, architraves, doors, walls and floor tiles finishing up with decorations to the highest of standards.
Connecting Corridor & Staircase – Our skilled trades team replaced the bespoke skirtings and architraves utilising their skills to the fullest due to the curved walls the property had throughout. The floor was latexed and new tiles fitted. Decoration was completed throughout using specialist paints.
Our client was extremely pleased with the high quality, professional service we were able to offer and more than satisfied with the transparent communication offered by the dedicated Contracts Manager throughout the duration of the project.
