Works completed:

• Construction of temporary timber stud to the base of the stair and across the lounge and lining with polythene sheet, along with protection of existing fixtures and fittings e.g. fireplaces
• Careful removal of existing engineered flooring to lounge and creation of access within floor to basement below
• Removal of existing plasterboard sheet and timber stud to walls of basement
• Removal of existing concrete paving, gravel, sump and sub floor
• Provision of new concrete sub floor
• Provision of horizontal and vertical tanking system along with peripheral drainage and sump pump arrangement connected to existing power supply and drainage system
• Boarding of walls and floors
• Refitting of all existing power and date faceplates, testing and commissioning
• Redecoration
• New Flooring
• Reinstatement of ground floor and redecoration of ground floor lounge

This project involved flood reinstatement works to the basement following the failure of a sump pump.   Works comprised of the installation of a new tanking system and associated finishes to the existing basement area.

As the principal contractor we worked alongside the principal designer for the duration of the project, planning the management, monitoring and the co-ordination of health and safety matters.
